So, who am I and what's the deal?
Ever wonder where those youtube parodies, flashes, and indiy games get their character voices? From voice over artists, that's where! There's a small, yet thriving community of online VAs that breath life into the characters on your computer screen. I happen to be one of them! Basically, I sit or stand infront of the mic and noises come out! Then those noises get sent to be edited and mixed into say, an abridged episode, and the character gets a voice! Occasionally I also mix and edit. It's something I take great pride in doing well, and it's a lot of fun to boot.
I started seriously (Serious?!? When are we ever serious?) recording in May '08 with a Logitech USB mic, and received my first paid role in early 2010. In late Jan '10, I upgraded to a semi-working Blue Snowball condenser mic, then to a Blue Yeti later that year. I now have a mini recording studio where I record.
I have a great love for Abridged Series, even if I haven't seen the original show. I love playing extras, and specialize in cute girl characters, young males, and strong females.
